Jealousy and competitive behavior might be the most common issue that our customers come to us with. Maybe you want to be comfortable taking your dog to the dog park or you recently adopted a new cat, but your current cat is fighting with them to control their territory.
Competitive and territorial behavior are natural for animals. Animals tend to fall in one of two categories; pack animals and solitary animals. Changing the dynamic of their pack or introducing new animals into their territory can cause animals to feel forced to stand their ground or protect their pack.
We’ve expertly formulated our Sibling Rivalry Flower Essence to help you help your pet’s jealous or possessive behavior. Sibling Rivalry helps animals to:
- Reduce competitiveness and jealousy over space, people, or toys
- Foster sharing and peaceful resolution
- Alleviate possessive, overbearing, and selfish behavior
- Stabilize the pecking order within the pack or herd
- Accept other animals near their owners, home, or territory
- Promote tolerance in multi-animal homes
Whether you want to have multiple animals in your home (who doesn’t!?), or your want to feel comfortable taking your animal around others, Sibling Rivalry will help.
Sibling Rivalry has helped many types of animals of many ages, from horses entering herd environments to older dogs handling a new puppy in the house. We often suggest pairing Sibling Rivalry with Angel of Mercy, Devil Be Gone, and/or Life’s Changes.
Do not allow children to handle glass bottle. Use caution when administering flower essence by inserting glass pipette directly into mouth. If using a plastic pipette, do not keep the plastic in bottle, as it may alter the flower essences and cause them to be less effective. Wash pipette after direct contact with mouth to prevent contamination. Keep away from open flames.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE/APPLICATIONS
As the flower essences are in a liquid form, they can be used in a variety of ways to best suit your animal. Use as part of your animal’s daily regimen to optimize effectiveness. Adding more drops than recommended will not increase effect or hasten results.
For short term situations where the negative behavior is displayed, use one hour prior to event. If used for training, incorporate into your animal’s daily care regimen, preferably one hour before training session.
For the most effective and immediate results, placing the recommended number of drops into animal’s mouth using pipette provided or a plastic pipette is best. Wash pipette thoroughly after use before returning it to the bottle.
For feral or hard to approach animals, utilizing a spray is helpful. Add 3-4 drops to 8oz. distilled, purified or spring water in a spray bottle. Spray directly into air in the direction of your animal’s mouth, nose and ears as well as their paws, hooves, or feet.
The easiest way to incorporate them into your life is to add the flower essences directly to your animal’s water bowl or bucket. Change water daily for best results and replenish the flower essences with each water change.
Apply recommended number of drops to your pet’s favorite hard treat. Using hard dog biscuits, carrots or apples is best as these will not absorb the flower essences quickly and affect efficacy. This method is not recommended as the essences may be absorbed by the food and not be as effective as placing the drops directly into the mouth or water.
Note: The rhythmic use of the flower essences improves their efficacy. The effects are improved by using them on a more frequent and consistent basis, not by increasing the dosage at one time.
Keep container tightly sealed. Keep out of direct sunlight. To prolong life of product, keep in refrigerator after opening.
Shake well before using. The best way to shake the flower essences is to use succession. To use this method, vigorously tap the bottom of the bottle on the palm of your hand as this activates the flower essences inside.
A short loading dose is recommended when beginning to use the flower essences. Simply use the recommended dosage two to three times daily for the first three days. Once the desired balance has been reached, use recommended dosage one to two times daily as part of your animal’s daily regimen to optimize efficacy.

I have not been consistent in giving this but I believe it will provide good results when I am more consistent.
We have a laid-back Golden and a Border collie-husky-lab mix rescue with a rather suspicious nature. The rescue, increasingly, has been "bullying" the Golden-- growling at mealtime, etc. Both are extremely jealous of one another and can't stand for the other to get attention. We started Sibling Rivalry about 3 days ago with one dose for each dog in the morning and last night they played with one another and didn't react when the other got petted! They just seem more relaxed in general and the house is definitely more peaceful!
I have 3 dogs and frequently foster dogs from the shelter. This remedy is indispensable at keeping the peace between all of the animals
Without Sibling Rivalry, my deaf, vision-impaired Aussie can't tolerate sharing a home with her house brother - another Aussie. With Sibling Rivalry, they play like puppy siblings! Need I say more?
